Week Four: Cincy v. Louisville rematch and home openers for Austin 512 FC and Indiana United

by Brian Ackley

TAMPA, Florida -- There will be plenty of talent on display this weekend in Major Arena Soccer League Women, headlined by a rematch between the Cincinnati Sirens and Louisville Triumph, this time in Louisville.

The two tangled in Cincy on Nov. 30, with the Sirens -- who have won five indoor national championships -- taking a 10-5 win.  Both teams feature players who were part of the U.S. National Minifootball women's team that won the 2024 World Cup tournament held in October in Croatia.

Speaking of which, the Houston Indoor Club will kick off their season this weekend. One of their key players, Jen LaPonte, is also a veteran of the U.S. National Minifootball women's team program. They will travel to Austin to take on the 512 FC.

Kalamazoo and Indiana United will also kick off their 2024-24 schedules in Indiana Saturday. For a look at all the action, and updated league stats, the Week Four Preview Packet can be found HERE, JUST CLICK!!!
